An indestructible sports watch appreciated by watch geeks at all levels. Completely utilitarian and antithetical to elegant timepieces, but durable, functional, and universally recognized as a beater watch worthy of respect.

The reviewer genuinely likes G-Shocks and owns many, praising their greater number of functions and some really cool features. His main criticism is that many features are unintuitive and require looking up how to use them, which he doesn't consider a sign of a functional watch.
